A brief history: This Historic estate has hosted weddings since the 18th century. Janet Livingston, eldest daughter of Judge Robert and Margaret Beekman Livingston, exchanged vows with General Richard Montgomery in the drawing room of the manor house in July 1773. Honoria Livingston, daughter of Alice and John Henry Livingston, and her husband Rex McVitty were the last Livingstons to have their wedding at Clermont on September 12, 1931- serving as their flower girl, was a granddaughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Clermont offers four beautiful lawn locations for wedding ceremonies and/or receptions. Whether you want a beautiful river view by the historic mansion or to be surrounded by trees next to the rustic Arryl house ruins, Clermont is the perfect destination for your outdoor wedding.
